Homemade Organic Bread With Seeds is a simple and healthy bread recipe that you can make once a week. We have used two loaf pans in the past and cut the bread into slices after it cools down. We now prefer making round bread like you see in the bottom photo. Put your slices in a durable plastic container and freeze the bread. Pull out what you need when you need it as the bread will keep fresh for about two weeks in the freezer.

Homemade Organic Bread With Seeds400 Grams of Organic Spelt Flour

200 Grams of Organic Whole Wheat Flour

100 Grams of Organic Unbleached White Bread Flour

100 Grams of Kamut Flour

100 Grams of Organic Brown Rice Flour

100 Grams of Organic Buckwheat Flour

1 and 1/3 Tablespoons of Yeast

1 Tablespoon of Organic Honey

3/4 Cup Warm Water

1 Teaspoon of Sea Salt

1 and 1/2 Tablespoons of Organic Olive Oil

600 ML of Pure Water

Directions For Making Bread

If you have a large family, just double the recipe so you can have four loaves.

We set our Kitchen Aid dough hook on the number 2 setting. Start preparing bread by pouring the Yeast, 3/4 Cup of Warm Water and Honey Into a small bowl and mix thoroughly.

Pour 1 Teaspoon of Organic Olive Oil into the bottom of your large Kitchen Aid Mixing Bowl. Put all of your flours and seeds into your mixing bowl and form a space in the middle that you can add your yeast, honey and water in the middle of the bowl. Let sit for about 12 minutes. Pour the sea salt around the entire edge of your large Kitchen Aid Mixing Bowl.

Run your dough hook for 5 minutes. Patricia takes the roughly 1000 grams ball and divides the dough into two 500 gram sections on the silicone mats that we bought at Costco. She told me you can also just use your clean counter and sprinkle some flour while you are forming the balls. Form your dough into balls and cover and let rise for one hour.

You can either put your bread in loaf pans and bake for 55-60 minutes at 350 degrees or form into small balls and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
