Enzymes Sample Package

Whole Wellness Club had another great conference call with Peak Enzymes formulator Troy Aupperle. You can listen to that call by clicking here:

Impact of Peak Enzymes

Some new information I have learned from these calls is that Serrapeptase is the most powerful enzyme in the body. Serrapeptase cleans arteries allowing more blood flow which gets more oxygen into your cells. The Peak ‘Without’ Systemic Enzymes have 80,000 U per serving.

One Peak Enzymes ‘With’ Digestive Enzymes will breakdown a Big Mac or a large slice of cheese cake. If you cook your food over 118 degrees, the enzymes are destroyed. If the enzymes are deficient, your nutrients cannot be properly used in the body. Enzymes are life. All Chronic disease is a result of enzyme deficiency. You can improve your health with

Russian Penicillin

HEALTH TIP OF THE WEEK: You can make a powerful natural antibiotic called Russian Penicillin using the following recipe. Put a 1/2 gallon of water in pot, add 1 grapefruit, peeled (use a potato peeler) exposing white skin that is high in bioflavonoids. Slice the grapefruit like you would a pie. Add 1 full bulb of garlic. Smash the cloves with the side of lg. knife. You don't have to peel the garlic, just smash each clove. Add garlic to pot & bring to boil, cover, & simmer for 20 minutes. Strain and drink 6 oz. 3 X day. A strong natural antibiotic that can kill about anything but the good bacteria.

This recipe is from Modern Manna in Lodi, California

End Groundhog Days by Tricia Greaves

1. Identify your groundhog days – get clear – What are they?

Food Issues?
Blowing a Diet?
Start and Stop an Exercise Program?
Wasting Money on Gym Memberships When You Drop Out?
Jobs or Job Experience Burnout?
Relationships – not getting the support or love you need?
Anger Coming Out?
Paralyzed by Fears?

2. Stop Making Excuses

It is very common for someone to make excuses for our behavior. Are you blaming your parents? Blaming a spouse? Who is standing behind your justifications? Are you acting like a victim?

3. Patterns Can Change – Affirm That You Can Change

When people reach their 40’s, people become very set in their ways. However, people can change. It is never too late to adopt new behaviors.

4. Take a Look At What Does Not Work

Have you not been successful with will power? Do you read books about relationships? Are you trying to overcome the fear of attracting another difficult relationship? Knowledge is not enough to overcome your difficulty. Are you trying to overcome the problem on your own? You must find someone that has overcome a similar groundhog day issue. Support helps get rid of guilt and shame.

5. Look Beyond Groundhog Day Pattern

Alcohol, Diet, Anger and Self-Sabotage are symptoms of a deeper issue. Finding what needs to be addressed and what is going on at the root level is important for healing. There are hidden payoffs in our habits or behaviors. Are you running away from your feelings? Do you sabotage a relationship when someone gets close to us? Are you afraid of closeness? We want to be the victim of our habits.

6. Decide to Change

This is the final step and takes daily effort. As long as we have guilt, our addictions will drive us. Guilt requires punishment.

Tricia Greaves is the President of The Nelson Center for Emotional Healing, which offers workshops and concierge services for overcoming addictions, food issues, and emotional problems. To learn more about ending your Groundhog days, you are invited to join us for our upcoming workshop on June 4th, either in person or via live-streaming over the internet. For more information please visit www.TheNelsonCenter.com/workshops. Enter discount code SPECIAL FRIEND and attend for $100 instead of $495!

10 Cognitive Traps

1. ALL-OR-NOTHING THINKING:
You see things in black-or-white categories. If a situation is anything less than perfect, you see it as a total failure.

2. OVERGENERALIZATION:
You see a single event as a never-ending pattern of defeat by using the word always or never when you think about it.

3. MENTAL FILTER:
You pick out a single negative detail and dwell on it exclusively. One word of criticism erases all the praise you’ve received.

4. DISCOUNTING THE POSITIVE:
You reject positive experiences by insisting they “don’t count.” If you do a good job, you tell yourself that anyone could have done as well.

5. JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS:
You interpret things negatively when there are no facts to support your conclusion. Two common variations are mind-reading ( you arbitrarily conclude that someone is reacting negatively to you ) and fortune-telling ( you assume and predict that things will turn out badly ).

6. MAGNIFICATION:
You exaggerate the importance of your problems and shortcomings, or you minimize your desirable qualities. This is also called the “binocular trick.”

7. EMOTIONAL REASONING:
You assume that your negative emotions reflect the way things really are: “I feel guilty. I must be a rotten person.”

8. “SHOULD” STATEMENTS:
You tell yourself that things should be the way you hoped or expected them to be. Many people try to motivate themselves with shoulds and shouldn’ts, as if they had to be punished before they could be expected to do anything.

9. LABELING:
This is an extreme form, of all-or-nothing thinking. Instead of saying “I made a mistake,” you attach a negative label to yourself: “I’m a loser.”

10. PERSONALIZATION AND BLAME:
You hold yourself personally responsible for events that aren’t entirely under your control.

Started reading The Enzyme Factor by Dr. Hiromi Shinya this morning. Dr. Shinya is a well respected doctor that first performed a colonoscopy that also allowed the removal of polyps without having to cut open a patient. Dr. Shinya states that the best way to avoid cancer and live a long healthy life is to change dietary habits. Eating a diet that consists of fresh fruits, legumes, nuts, vegetables, and whole grains is the way to stay healthy. The main reason the above diet is better for us is that your body will get enzymes from the fruits and vegetables. Enzymes are the source of energy in your body. When a living organism no longer has enzymes, life ceases.

The reason there is an epidemic of disease in western society today is the standard American diet is loaded with fat and cholesterol from animal products. Most people have been led to believe that they need to eat meat to get protein. There are abundant sources of protein from plant sources. An illustration is that the herbivores that the carnivores hunt down for prey are able to outrun them in a distance chase. The muscles of the herbivores provide the stamina to outrun the carnivores. Carnivores chase down easy to kill prey like disabled or elderly herbivores.

When the carnivores capture an animal, they immediately go and eat the internal organs that contain enzymes. So even nature knows that enzymes are the spark of life.

Drugs never cure illness or disease. Some drugs are absolutely necessary in certain situations. For long term health, drugs are not the answer though. Changing dietary habits is necessary to overcome health problems long term.

Dr. Shinya believes in enzyme therapy to help your body stay healthy. For more information about enzymes, please visit my Enzymes category on this blog. Scroll down the right hand side to the Categories section and click on Enzymes and there are many articles and recorded calls from experts in the Enzymes field.

Salmon Dying in Fraser River

In Canada's Fraser River, a mysterious illness has killed millions of Pacific salmon.

Scientists have a new hypothesis about why: The wild salmon are suffering from a viral infection that could be linked to genes associated with leukemia and lymphoma.

For 60 years before the early 1990s, an average of nearly 8 million wild salmon returned from the Pacific Ocean to the Fraser River each year to spawn.

Now the salmon industry is in a state of collapse, with mortality rates ranging from 40 percent to 95 percent. The salmon run has been highly variable: The worst year came in 2009, with 1.5 million salmon, followed by the best year in 2010, with 30 million salmon. But the overall trend is downward.

Losses were particularly high in elevated river temperatures; warmer water makes it more difficult to deliver oxygen to the tissues of salmon.

Seven of the last 10 summers have been the hottest on record for the Fraser River. But experts say it's too soon to pin the blame on global warming.

"Clearly, a warming climate is going to produce some new stresses for Pacific salmon," said Daniel Schindler, a professor of aquatic and fishery sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle. "Some of those stresses will certainly be expressed through increased susceptibility to disease, including something like this."

But he added: "The reality is we have very poor understanding of how climate and disease dynamics interact with each other in salmon. We know they're going to be important, but we can't say a lot in detail."

Two years ago, Canada's prime minister ordered a judicial inquiry – known as the Cohen Commission – to investigate the salmon deaths, with a final report due by June 2012.
