Sermon #1 Truth sanctifies us.
John 14:9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, andyou still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen theFather. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Isaiah 60:1-2 Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen upon you.
Acts 2 shows how important Fellowship is in Christian community.
Exodus 33:18, 21-22 Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” And the Lord said, “Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand on the rock, 22 and while my glory passes by I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by.
Exodus 34:6-7 The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, 7 keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no meansclear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the childrenand the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
John 9:1-3 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3 Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.
God utilized a blind man to show His Love and Mercy. Christ work wasbenevolence as He healed the sick showed mercy and fed the hungry. ReadIsaiah 58. By helping others we help ourselves. Find God in Face ofJesus who has my highest thoughts.
Revelation 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternalgospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation andtribe and language and people.
Psalms 119:72 The law of your mouth is better to me

Romans 4:6 Just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works.
Do a search on Amazon with the keywords “God” and “Suffering” and there are over 20,000 books returned in the search query. Many authors are writing about why God causes suffering on the earth. Question, Who Is God? God means everything to us. How can we cope when bad things happen to us?

Revelation 12:7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back. Michael means ‘who is like God’.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In their case the godof this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep themfrom seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is theimage of God.
